We’re currently at the mid-point in the NMC Symposium on Creativity in Second Life. So far, it’s been fantastic! The presentations range from those on fashion to those (like the one pictured here) heavy with code. Most people are using the new Second Life voice features, which adds a whole new dimension to the program.
I’m particularly enjoying the studio session on sculpture. The mentors are wonderful, and I really appreciate the excuse to work on something with little practical value!
Like most conferences, the best interactions are those that happen outside of the sessions. I’ve never had that type of experience at an online conference before.
