Invasion of the Links!

I decided to use the del.icio.us feature that creates a daily blog post out of my tagged and archived links. There are so many wonderful sites that I find and just don’t have the time or depth of knowledge to write up. Please let me know what you think of this addition!

For those of you who may not be familiar with it, del.icio.us is a social bookmarking site. It is one of the few web apps that I use multiple times per day, every day. I’ve been using it since March, 2005, which is a remarkable longevity for a web-based application.

Del.icio.us was one of the first web applications to use tags. You select a link, optionally write a brief description, and then tag the link with keywords. You can see who else has bookmarked that link. You can also see the top links being tagged at any given time.

If you find the interface too stark, you may enjoy Magnolia, a newer application that performs many of the same functions.
